What exactly is Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education (CRSE)?  At its heart, it is a pledge that our classrooms are welcoming places, where everyone is seen for who they are, where everyone's culture, background and identities are integrated and celebrated, and were the curriculum and teaching practices are aligned with those ideals.

The New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE) has out lined its approach to CRSE.
