PS196Q Administration

"There's no place like home..."  PS196Q has been my home since I arrived in 2006 to serve as Assistant Principal.  In September 2009, I became principal and it has been a true pleasure to work with our families, students and staff to create one of the best schools in New York state! I have been living in Forest Hills since the late 1990s and working at PS196Q since 2000.  I started here as a 4th grade teacher, and then became the school's first Math Coach--supporting both teachers and students. I have been on staff at PS196Q since September 2009. As one of the school psychologists I had the unique opportunity to work closely with teachers, special education providers, and administrators. I am passionate about helping all students succeed and ensuring that students who need services get high quality intervention. I became assistant principal at PS196Q in September of 2016.
